Forensic interviews are child-centered interviews used to make informed decisions in the investigation process of abuse allegations. Our interviewers work hard to provide an un-biased environment where children can disclose events that they have experienced so that they can move forward in the journey to healing.
Medical Examinations
Our trained medical professionals employ trauma-informed practices to ensure the physical and mental wellbeing of victims of abuse. Mashkawizii CAC provides sexual assault examinations including injury and STI assessments, collects forensic evidence, and provides follow-up care. Our nurses play crucial role in ensuring the safety of the children we serve.
Victim Advocacy
Experiencing abuse, neglect, and trauma can be difficult to process. Our advocates assist families in navigating complex systems and advocate for their needs. We help families develop safety plans, set goals, access resources, and more!
